The idea for this video came from my sons imagination. I love to sit and listen to him play and come up with all kinds of things to say and make believe. I have found that this happens in life while people watching and in the classroom with our students, when we set them free to be creative. You never know what they will come up with, say, or physically do at random. I wanted this assignment to capture the imagination of a child. I wanted to push myself with technology and use a green screen. I wanted the background to match what he was talking about or doing so it would bring his imaginating to life. I was so frustrated at times and when I finally decided to be done and post it was due to enough hours spent on a 45 sec. video. I learned so much and I used a mac for the first time. I movie has some great features and I learned why I couldn't get some of them to work. If I were grading this assignment for myself I would give myself an A just for the fact that I learned so much and tried to hard. It is far from a great video but my idea has started to come out in this clip. I used music on one of the clips to add the outdoor hunting effect and bumped up the volume of Creed talking about an astranaut.
